About the event
Youth and young adults are suffering from unmet hygiene security needs every day. This impact leads to: (1) improper hygiene access negatively contributing to mental health outcomes; (2) Unmet preventable health conditions; (3) Functional disabilities caused by lack of access to proper hygiene; (4) Consequences developed ranging from social problems to serious diseases; and (5) Prolonged access to proper menstrual care, infections and weakened immune systems.
With your investment, we can DECREASE: (1) the contribution of negative mental health outcomes, (2) unmet preventable health conditions, (3) functional disabilities caused by lack of access to proper hygiene, (4) consequences developed ranging from social problems to serious diseases, and (5) prolonged access to proper menstrual care, infections and weakened immune systems amongst 800 youth and young adults.
Working together we can get some momentum in reducing the number of children, youth and young adults 12-26 years of age living with the consequences of hygiene insecurity. Our workshops involve conversations that promote youth empowerment, resources and hygiene supplies.
